The IntoWork service can provide you with the following:

  • Free Training *subject to eligibility*
  • Upfront costs before you can start a job? We can fund this for you!
  • 1:1 guidance through the difficulties of finding work

Communities For Work and Inspire To Work Projects

  • 1:1 Support to find work!
  • We are based in your local area. We can meet where you feel comfortable.
  • Free Training
  • Financial Support to help you get into work – including covering childcare and transport costs, interview and work specific clothing as well as specialist training course fees (subject to eligibility)
  • Bespoke 1:1 help to create a CV and complete application forms
  • Interview preparation and real life advice direct from employers

Eligibility

  • 16-24 years old
  • Not in education, training or employment
  • Live in Cardiff

MILES Project

  • Homeless, sofa-surfing or having a housing issue? Then this project is for you!
  • Based in many Youth Hostels – ask your hostel worker for our support.
  • 1:1 Support to find work!
  • Financial Support to help you get into work – including covering transport costs, interview and work specific clothing as well as specialist training course fees (subject to eligibility)
  • Bespoke 1:1 help to create a CV and complete application forms
  • Interview preparation and real life advice direct from employers
  • Assistance with navigating your housing options
  • Support when attending housing meetings or appointments

Eligibility

  • 16-24 years old
  • Homeless or experiencing a housing issue
  • Not in education, training or employment
  • Live in Cardiff

Bright Futures Project

This project is dedicated to young people who are care experienced or looked after in Cardiff.

  • 1:1 Support to find work!
  • We are based in your local area. We can meet where you feel comfortable.
  • Free Training
  • Financial Support to help you get into work – including covering transport costs, interview and work specific clothing as well as specialist training courses (subject to eligibility)
  • Bespoke 1:1 help to create a CV and complete application forms
  • Interview preparation and real life advice direct from employers

6 month work placements

  • Earn up to £75 per week with the Placement Allowance
  • Placement Allowance will not affect Universal Credit or any other benefits you are in receipt of
  • Additional financial assistance for bus/train/bike passes, uniforms, PPE will be provided
  • Have an in-work mentor to help you learn new skills
  • Bright Start Support Worker will meet with you weekly at your work placement
